Mystery Wine Case Night
I recently purchased a Mystery Case of Wine from one of my distributors and was so happy with my box of goodies that I decided to share the fun with you! It was kind of like Christmas but better. All the wines are perfectly sound, it’s just a way for a distributor to collect and sell some of the random single bottles that accumulate in their warehouse. Think of it this way: these fine wines are kind of like the toys from the Island of Misfit Toys and they just need a home. My “misfits” included a 2015 Rosso di Montalcino, a 2012 Beaujolais-Villages from Domaine Robert-Denogent, and a 2013 Volker Eisele “Gemini” White blend from Napa Valley . . . just to name a few.
Here’s where you come in:
Purchase a case of Mystery Wine from Katie by NO later than Friday, October 26th.
Cost for the case is $160.
Saturday the 27th, you arrive between 6-6:30 to pick out a sealed box. Now for the fun part: once you’ve selected your Mystery Case of wine, you open it and start trading with the other guests. For instance, say you’re more of a white wine drinker and want to trade some of your reds . . . let the trading begin! My distributor still has a good stock of the Mystery Cases, but availability is limited to the supply. If you want in, please don’t hesitate to purchase your case for the event. And, with it being the Saturday before Halloween, feel free to come in costume!
